Terms of Service

Quoteza is software that helps businesses create and manage quotes, invoices, expenses and payments. Quoteza is not an accountant, tax adviser, lawyer or financial adviser, and the Service does not provide legal, tax or financial advice.

You remain responsible for ensuring that your quotes, invoices, VAT, taxes, financial records and business activities comply with all applicable laws and regulations. You should consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your circumstances.

By using Quoteza you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of any business you represent. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the documents and information you create in Quoteza, and for ensuring you have the right to enter and store any customer information you upload. You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
• upload content that infringes the rights of others;
• attempt to access, disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service beyond its intended use; or
• share your account access in a way that bypasses our access controls.

Quoteza generates documents based on the information you provide. You are solely responsible for the legal and tax correctness of your quotes, invoices and VAT calculations, and for keeping your own business records. Customer details you enter are stored to populate your documents and are not used by us to contact your customers except where necessary to deliver a document or payment you initiate.

Quoteza offers four paid subscription plans: Starter ($4.99/month), Pro ($8.99/month), Builder ($14.99/month) and Builder+ ($24.99/month). All subscriptions are billed in USD via Stripe. Prices are inclusive of applicable VAT where required. The features available with each plan are shown in the app on the Billing & Plan page. Payment is processed by Stripe.

New users may be offered a 7-day free trial of the Quoteza Pro plan only. To start a trial, you must provide a valid payment method. No charge is made during the trial period.

7 days free, then $8.99/month for Quoteza Pro. Your subscription will automatically renew monthly unless cancelled. Cancel before the end of your trial to avoid being charged.

By starting a trial you authorise Stripe to charge the monthly Pro subscription fee once the trial ends, unless you cancel beforehand.

You can cancel your trial or subscription at any time through the in-app subscription manager or the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling during a trial means no charge is made. Cancelling a paid subscription stops further renewals; you keep access until the end of the current paid period. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time within a paid period except where required by law.

If a subscription payment fails, we may retry the payment or pause your paid-plan access. If payment cannot be collected, your subscription may be cancelled. Stripe may update your payment method information. We are not liable for fees or consequences imposed by your bank or card issuer arising from failed payments.

The 7-day trial is free of charge. Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact scottbilton0@gmail.com within 14 days and we will review your case.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to maintain a valid subscription, or where required to protect the Service or other users. You may close your account at any time; closing your account stops further subscription charges after the current period.

Quoteza, its software, design and branding are owned by us or our licensors. You retain all rights to the business documents and content you create. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for your business while your account is active and in line with these Terms.

The Service relies on third-party providers including Stripe (payments), Base44 (infrastructure) and Google/Gmail (email delivery where used). We are not responsible for the acts or failures of these third parties beyond our control, and their use is also subject to their own terms and policies.

We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, updates or events outside our control. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

Because Quoteza is a tool and does not provide professional advice, we are not liable for the accuracy of your tax, VAT, invoice or legal content, or for any losses arising from relying on the Service in place of professional advice.

We may update or change the Service and these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where local consumer-protection law gives you a right to use the courts of your country of residence.
